In a world where life can be full of the ordinary, I create jewelry that encourages personal and distinctive expression. I consider myself a mixed media artisan and I work in both traditional materials, such as silver, semiprecious stones, crystals, and glass beads, as well as alternative materials such as polymer, brass, and stainless steel.
Born and raised in Kenmore, New York, I studied Interior Design and Studio Art at Villa Maria College. I have always had a love of things made by hand and I have worked in traditional crafts such as ceramics and pottery, metal smithing, enameling, block printing and batik to name a few.
Much of my current work uses polymer clay in conjunction with various metals. Polymer clay is a fairly new fine art medium that now holds a distinguished place in permanent art collections in the Museum of Art and Design in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Racine Museum of Art in Wisconsin.
My shop will be opening soon, so check back often to see new work and a list of shows where I will be exhibiting.
